Etsy Shop Update

I'm slowly making some changes with my vintage clothing shop on Etsy. I created a new, simple banner for my shop yesterday and have finally been using my new lighter grey backdrop for my pictures. I really like the light grey vs. the white and the darker grey. My other idea that I go back and forth on are my pictures. I am still planning to use the mannequin but, I can't decide if my thumbnail photo should be split in two or only show one.

I am also going to be changing the style I do my descriptions, just slightly. I am trying to make my shop as clean and simple as possible. My mannequin is pink and that is already more busy and bright than I really want so I am attempting to tone down everything else until the day I find a neutral mannequin.

Lastly, after I post all of my new items I am going to go back through all of my old items and redo the photos. Some of them are in need of some serious help!

Rose Bowl Flea Market Finds

Sunday, my mom, my stepdad and I took a short road trip to the Pasadena Flea Market. It was my first time going to a Flea Market and I had high expectations. My expectations were definitely met. I am so excited about all the lovely vintage dresses I purchased and will be posting them to my Etsy store, Little Orphan Fannie. It's going to be really difficult to let some of them go. (I haven't allowed myself to try any on because I'd keep all of them!)

Small Etsy Update

The first dress reminds me of Barbie. I could imagine myself as a little girl adoring this dress on her and wanting one for myself. Now, I found one life size and it doesn't fit me. So, I hope someone else will be able to have some fun in this "Barbie-esque" vintage 80's dress.

I've been snapping pictures(and eating tons of gummy bears) throughout the day. Vintage dresses and slips have been added to my etsy shop, Little Orphan Fannie. 80's Black and White Retro Dress

Letting go of a favorite dress is always difficult. But, I would always prefer someone else to have the joy of wearing it too so, it makes it so much easier. Yep, one of these is a favorite of mine. I LOVE the solid black wiggle dress. It's very flattering, sophisticated and classy. Who ever purchases it, I would love to see a picture of them wearing it.

In fact, I have been thinking that I would love to see any of the clothing I sell, worn by the buyer. I think it would be fantastic to see how they've styled it. I think I will put a note somewhere on my Etsy store explaining that any buyer's are welcome to send me a photo of them, so I can post it on my blog of them wearing what they've purchased from my shop. I think it'd be so much fun.

Also, I have decided to give a Valentine's Day discount to Blogger's Only. Either of these two dresses I will discount $5.00 off each of them, just send me a convo through Etsy that you saw this discount through my blog. I will make the price adjustment for you.
