I've Been Away
I've been away from blogger. And, I am going to be starting a new blog soon. It will be launched in a couple weeks to come. My new blog will be more of a personal blog and be more about my passion and journey through photography. See you in a few weeks!

Sexy and Sweet
Etsy Shop Update
I'm slowly making some changes with my vintage clothing shop on Etsy. I created a new, simple banner for my shop yesterday and have finally been using my new lighter grey backdrop for my pictures. I really like the light grey vs. the white and the darker grey. My other idea that I go back and forth on are my pictures. I am still planning to use the mannequin but, I can't decide if my thumbnail photo should be split in two or only show one.
I am also going to be changing the style I do my descriptions, just slightly. I am trying to make my shop as clean and simple as possible. My mannequin is pink and that is already more busy and bright than I really want so I am attempting to tone down everything else until the day I find a neutral mannequin.
Lastly, after I post all of my new items I am going to go back through all of my old items and redo the photos. Some of them are in need of some serious help!
Here are a few of the freshly listed dresses and I have 20 plus more to go from Sunday's flea market. To see my shop click here, Little Orphan Fannie.

I see you
Last week for my Valentine's gift, my sweetheart purchased a new camera lens for me. It arrived yesterday and I am so excited to have it.
As soon as I noticed the mail man across the way, I religiously kept peeking out my window to see when he'd be to our mailbox. As he drove up, I saw a package on his trucks step and assumed it had to be mine. (In fact, I tried to take a picture of it from a window upstairs, to see if my name was on it.....of course while he wasn't looking). I was right! And, here he came to ring my door bell.
I had a lot of fun chasing around my pets again. I am not going to bore you with more pet photos instead, I decided to post a self portrait I did last night using my new lens.
Truthfully, I don't really care for this photo but, my blog has been abandoned again. And I needed to do a post. hahahaha
I have a much better photo idea but, I didn't have the patience for it last night and need to re attempt it in a few days.
So, I leave you with this slightly creepy self portrait. If you can't tell, all I really liked in this picture was my left eye.
P.S. I remind myself a little of Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls or...maybe a little Marilyn Manson.

Visit to Swami's This Afternoon
I am not going to write much because I am sleepy. But, today I had a nice time with my sweetheart walking around at the beach called Swami's in Encinitas, Ca.
Below are some pictures I took and edited today.

I've Been Hibernating
Like a bear in the winter, I too hibernate. Here in sunny California, I have to no reason to hibernate. Instead, it's more my lack of motivation to leave my house. I guess it's good that I can remain so entertained staying home. It is about time for me to get out of here. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe.
I've also already given up on my "blog daily" resolution. I gave up on that one fast. I guess, I don't enjoy it,enough to make it daily. So, I am not going to push myself to do something I don't enjoy. Instead, I will just write whenever I feel like sharing something or to give shop updates or photography updates.
Sunday, I had a great time with my mom and dad. We made it to another Flea Market. This time it was in Long Beach, Ca. I still prefer the Pasadena Flea Market but, it was very fun exploring more rows of dusty history. I managed to find 25 vintages dresses to add to my Etsy shop. So far, I have added 8. The others are still waiting their turn.
Another thing, I have noticed, is I buy almost all small dresses. I don't always do it intentionally. It just seems like the small ones are the easiest to find. And, I tend to purchase things I want and if I can't fit, I sell it. I am going to try to be more conscious of sizes next time.
To see these dresses, visit my Etsy shop... Little Orphan Fannie. By the way, all of these here are size small. I am sorry, I know, I know... I need different sizes.
I took the photos of this pink dress, right as the sun was setting and it's so strange how it has a completely different background color than the rest of the photos. They were all taken on the same day(yesterday), all by natural light coming in through the window. It's neat to see the variation. I can almost tell what time it is in all of the photos.
