Pin Up Inspired, Kitty Cat Halloween Costume

Wednesday night, my friends and I dressed up and went out for some early Halloween fun. I was a pin up inspired kitty cat. I think I am going out again tonight. I haven't decided what I am going to be but, on Halloween night I will be going to L.A. and attending Monster Massive. I am going as Lolita and will be wearing this same outfit but changed around a bit. I will add more photos of the additional costumes after Halloween!

Vertigo

I have been back from the cruise I went on, since Monday and it's been the strangest thing. I can't stop the feeling of swaying back and forth, as if I am still on the boat.

I have vertigo and it's an awful feeling. I have had it for 3 days now. I really hope it goes away because it is making it difficult for me to function. I very much dislike this feeling. I might have to go back to sleep but, I have so much to do and the last three days, I keep sleeping and sleeping.

Donkey In Disguise As A Zebra

While in Ensenada, Mexico, near their "blow hole", my family and I were greeted by this donkey whom had been painted to look like a Zebra. On our way back to the car, I really wanted a picture with him. I think our cab driver noticed, I had been laughing and looking at the "Zebra". He gave me his left over Coca Cola and pointed at the donkey. Well, it turns out that the donkey/zebra loves soda. I couldn't believe the donkey finished it within seconds and loudly belched afterwards!

Getting Ready For The Cruise, I Leave Today!!

For my Aunt Tracee's 50th birthday bash she has invited my mom and I to go on a cruise with her mom and her daughter, my cousin Chelsea. I leave in just about an hour. I am soo excited. This is my first cruise. It's a short one but, I get to go to Catalina Island, which I have never been to and Ensenada Mexico, another place I have never been to. I am bringing along both of my camera's. I hope to take lots of pictures. The only bummer, I think I am starting to get sick. I am going to try to ignore that sore throat and lightheadedness. I will be drinking lots of water and oj, all day.

Model Mayhem

Today, I signed up for Model Mayhem, as a photographer. If any of you have signed up then, you know it takes time before being approved. I hope I get approved, I am nervous among all of the extremely talented photographers. I am an amateur/hobbyist photographer but, I am so eager to learn and work with others. I am giving it a shot. In a couple weeks, we will see.

A Visit To Guajome Park Photoshoot

Today, I had fun with my boyfriend taking some pictures. This is my second time being able to convince him to go. I think we are getting better. I just have to give him a little nudge. He is a much better photographer than he gives himself credit. I like that I am able to give him some direction and he is starting to understand what I mean. I am excited for our next ventures. I think we will have a better understanding and things will only get better:)

Oh, I have a sweet short story to mention. While we were walking around at the park, in the distance there was an old man walking his dog. He smiled and waved us over. He politely asked if we would like him to take a picture of us. We said yes, and we sat down on a bench and he snapped a picture of us. I just thought it was so sweet of him. He says he comes there often because it's peaceful and not many others are around. I hope I see him next time we go. Maybe I can snap a picture of him and his sweet dog.

The Dreamers

Somewhere among the blogging world, I came across some recommendations to discover the movie, "The Dreamers". Well, I finally did so last night and I really enjoyed it. The cast is stunning in their appearances and the setting is romantically placed in France during the 60's.

Once you get over the initial shock of the erotic fascination between two siblings, it's worth watching. Trivial games of their film obsessions begin truth or dare punishment leading to sexual exploration. While rated NC-17, the provocative nature of this movie was created artistically.

My favorite movie quote: "Yes, I'm drunk. And you're beautiful. And tomorrow morning, I'll be sober but you'll still be beautiful."

A Walk In The Park

Today, I was finally able to convince my sweetheart to go for a short stroll through our local park. I really wanted to take a few outdoor pictures. Unfortunately, today the weather kept shifting. The clouds would spread and darken the sky. Most of our pictures didn't have the soft sunlight, as I had hoped for. I attempted false sunlight with a little adjusting in photoshop.
